The importance of strength in the real world can not be understated. Movement pathways are developed and improved through repetition. We believe that by doing a daily WOD you will get better and stay fit, but it is only through increasing your work capacity that you can increase your fitness.
We are an official USAW BARBELL CLUB.
The Olympic series of lifts, specifically the Clean & Jerk and Snatch, are complex movements that engage a significant number of the fitness domains and require dedicated effort for improvement. Through the use of power lifts, like Bench Press, Front/Back/Overhead Squats, Deadlifts and Presses, we increase our strength and make the recruitment of muscles to accomplish a singular task easier.
